Washington County gains fourth confirmed case of COVID-19

WASHINGTON COUNTY — A fourth case of novel COVID-19 has been confirmed in Washington County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced Tuesday morning the case was confirmed in an adult 61-80 years old. The total of confirmed cases in the state is now at 124.

Johnson County tops the state with 37 confirmed cases while 13 additional counties, including Henry, only have one so far according to the IDPH. So far 70 of the confirmed cases in the state have been in women and 54 in men.

As of March 24, 2,315 people in state tested negative for the virus, according to the IDPH.
