MT. UNION — The body of a Mt. Pleasant man was found in a rural Henry County field Monday morning.
The body of Paul Robert Burden, 55, of Mt. Pleasant, was found in a field southwest of Mt. Union on Monday, Nov. 25, according to a news release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
Police responded to the intersection of 190th Street and Oasis Avenue, southwest of Mt. Union, at approximately 7:30 a.m., for the report of a vehicle in a ditch. Burden was found deceased in an adjacent field.
The incident remains under investigation. Burden’s body has been transported for an autopsy.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Henry County Ambulance and Medical Examiner Investigator from Henry County.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
