Toolesboro National Historic Landmark Museum now open

Toolesboro National Historic Landmark Museum in Louisa County is now open to visitors.

Measures will be in place to ensure visitor and staff safety. Staff will be wearing masks and conducting extra cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. It is recommended that visitors wear a mask, sanitize their hands upon arrival and follow the indicated traffic pattern through the museum. If more than one group arrives at the same time, one party will be asked to wait outside while the other tours the museum. The outdoor patio of the museum has seating and interpretive displays to view while waiting.

Normal hours of operation run through Labor Day weekend, Wednesday through Sunday from 12:30-4:30 pm. After Labor Day through Oct. 31 the staff will be present Saturdays only from 12:30-4:30 pm.
