KCTC to air video on UP Home veteran

WASHINGTON — On Sunday, May 24 at 4 p.m. and Monday, May 25 at 2 p.m. the United Presbyterian (UP) Home will be airing a video on KCTC channel 61 the personal experiences from World War II veteran and UP Home Resident Marion Turnipseed. Turnipseed served honorably in the Air Force for 33 Months, flying 35 bombing missions and sharing his three near death experiences.

He kept a diary during his service and will share them during this one hour and 45 minute video. He has lived at the UP Home for 14 years and is currently 96 years old. Anyone who has KCTC can view this video and it also will be shared on YouTube and Facebook.
